Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were lovely, very spacious, and modern, offering a bright, comfortable, well-equipped, and clean space. The service was fantastic, with staff going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness, but the breakfast experience fell a bit short with cold and rubbery scrambled eggs. The location was convenient, being close to the beach and central Southsea, but a lounge area was missed. The dining experience was satisfactory overall, with a good selection for breakfast, despite some disappointments. The facilities, however, were limited, especially in terms of common areas.
My stay at the hotel was a bit mixed. The ground floor room I had was plagued by noise from the front door and other guests, which made it hard to get proper rest. On the other hand, the top-floor room was a hassle for my disabled dog and tall husband. The staff, especially Mary, were incredibly friendly and helpful, which was a big plus. The location was convenient, close to the park and sea. Dining was enjoyable with a variety of cooked breakfast options. The facilities were adequate, but there were some issues that affected the overall experience.
Despite the outside noise due to the lack of air conditioning, the hotel offers comfortable rooms with a great shower. The service is excellent and accommodating, making up for the limited outside dining options in the residential area. The dining experience is fantastic with a good gluten-free offering, and facilities are clean and beautiful.
